Inspection plates

Striker plates are essential tools in machine shops, used for checking and verifying the accuracy of mechanical components. These tools, also known as reference tables, reference plates or measuring planes, are high-precision flat surfaces that serve as a reference base for inspecting the uniformity and flatness of mechanical parts. Striker plates are made of cast iron, granite or steel and are designed to maintain a perfectly flat and stable surface. The choice of material depends on the specific application and environmental conditions. Granite counter tops, for example, are known for their resistance to wear and corrosion, while cast iron counter tops offer good vibration absorption capacity. These instruments are available in various sizes and degrees of accuracy, defined by international standards such as DIN, JIS and ASME. The accuracy of a striker plate is measured in microns, with the most precise grades offering a tolerance of a few microns across the entire surface. Advantages of Striker Plates - High Accuracy: Striker Plates provide extremely high accuracy, which is essential for quality control in machining processes. - Durability: Made of durable materials, the counter tops maintain their flatness over time, even under intensive use. - Versatility: Can be used for a wide range of applications, from dimensional checks to flatness and parallelism tests. - Ease of Maintenance: Easy to clean and maintain, they only require periodic cleaning and protection from dust and debris to preserve their accuracy. In machine shops, reference tables are used for dimensional inspection of machined parts, calibration of measuring instruments and checking the flatness of surfaces. They are indispensable for operations requiring a high level of precision, such as the assembly of machinery, the measurement of complex components and the validation of production processes. Thanks to their accuracy and reliability, feedback planes help ensure that mechanical components meet the required specifications, improving the quality of the final product and reducing production costs resulting from errors and defects. Striking plans are a key element in the quality control of machine shops, offering precision, durability and versatility. Their implementation enables accurate and repeatable results, essential for the production of high quality mechanical components.
