VCI packaging LTEC

The LTEC VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) bags have been designed to maximize the protection of machined components against rust or the formation of metal oxides during storage or transport. They are made of low density polyethylene with the addition of volatile corrosion inhibitors and designed to effectively protect ferrous metals and alloys from oxidation. For the protection to be effective, the pieces to be protected should be dry and clean before they are inserted in the VCI bags and the package sealed. The volatile corrosion inhibitors become attached to the metal surface, preventing or blocking oxidation. The LTEC VCI bags are compatible with the most common types of commercially available corrosion inhibitor oils and waxes.
