The emulsion pH-control papers are used to verify that the value lies between 8.5 and 9.5. A too low pH value can generate oxidation processes, be a symptom of the formation of bacterial colonies and/or of the presence of extraneous elements, while a too high pH value is among the main causes of operator skin irritation; daily use is recommended.
