- Remote scale interrogation and control from external control devices or computers via the KERN Communication Protocol (KCP). The KCP is a standardised set of interface commands for KERN scales and other instruments, which allows all important parameters and device functions to be called up and controlled. KERN devices equipped with KCP can therefore easily connect to computers, industrial control units and other digital systems. The KCP is largely compatible with the MT-SICS protocol.
- Thanks to interfaces such as RS-232 or USB, WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet (optional) the scale can be easily integrated into existing networks, simplifying data exchange between scale and PC or printer.

- For applications requiring type approval (conformity assessment according to NAWI 2014/31/EU), please order type approval together with the balance; initial type approval at a later date is not possible. For type approval, we require the complete address of the place of use.
- Our floor scales are shipped in a sturdy wooden box. This protects the high-quality weighing technology from environmental influences and stresses during transport.
