- Hold function: a stable average weighing value is calculated in case of uneven environments.

- Remote scale interrogation and control from external control devices or computers via the KERN Communication Protocol (KCP). The KCP is a standardised set of interface commands for KERN scales and other instruments, which allows all important parameters and device functions to be called up and controlled. KERN devices equipped with KCP can therefore easily connect to computers, industrial control units and other digital systems. The KCP is largely compatible with the MT-SICS protocol.
- Multi-range scale, as the load increases it automatically switches to the upper range [Max] and readability [d] and after complete emptying of the scale it returns to the lowest range.
