The portable ultrasonic hardness tester solves the classic problem of portable rebound hardness testers (Leeb) which need components with a mass of at least approx. 5 kg to guarantee reliable hardness measurements.
With this universal instrument you can either use the classic rebound probe or the ultrasonic probe for smaller components or surface hardnesses making it a very versatile instrument.
The scope of delivery includes instrument, rebound probe, ultrasonic probe and hardness specimen.
Up to 100 readings can be stored and 20 materials can be stored to avoid recalibration each time the instrument is used
