4220 is an extreme temperature lubricating grease based on polyetherperfluorinated oils (PFPE) for use in food and related industries due to its NSF H1 certification.
This grease is recommended for rolling bearings operating at high temperatures, tunnel kilns, baking ovens, burners and dryers, hot gas assemblies, reaction vessels, boiler plants, rollers and conveyor rollers in continuous ovens.
Due to its characteristics, Grease 4220 can be used in the metalworking, chemical, food and packaging industries.
It is resistant to water and steam, has outstanding resistance to chemicals (solvents benzene, benzol, acetone, trichloroethylene, inorganic acids such as sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid as well as stearic acids, alcohols and halogens) and has excellent compatibility with plastics and elastomers.
Special Grease 4220 is suitable for long-term lubrication even where temperatures of up to 300 °C are reached.
