Gear Power is a mineral-based gear oil containing sulphur and phosphorus compounds and is free from lead additives.
The product has been developed for use under extreme pressure conditions (it passes EP tests such as TIMKEN, 4-ball EP and 4-ball wear tests) and is therefore suitable for all types of gearing: cylindrical, helical, bevel, industrial hypoid and worm gear (in the latter two cases, only where polyalkylene glycol-based synthetic oils are not specified). It is also suitable for the lubrication of plain and rolling bearings, and for use in circulation or oil mist lubrication systems.
It offers excellent thermal and oxidation resistance for steel and copper components, whilst ensuring rapid water separation under all operating conditions.
It possesses high resistance to high temperatures and therefore meets the demands of modern industry.
