- Industry 4.0: With the KERN Universal Port (KUP), data and commands can be exchanged via one interface, which can be connected to the housing, or via the KUP Extension Box via three interfaces in parallel. The following interfaces are optionally available: RS-232, USB, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth.
- Each interface can be set up separately, e.g:.
- Interface 1 (WiFi): continuous sending to PC for process documentation.
- Interface 2 (RS-232): printing of stable weight value.
- Interface 3 (analogue module): control of a device when target weight is reached.
- With Real Time Clock as standard: Allows recording of weighing results with precise time stamping. Even after a power failure the scale can continue to work with the correct time.
- Optionally with alibi memory for paperless storage of weighing results. This also makes it possible to electronically evaluate weighing results subject to calibration for trade and process them in accordance with regulations.
- Remote scale interrogation and control via computer or CRM/ERP systems thanks to the KERN communication protocol.
- Simplified battery replacement thanks to the easily accessible housing. Particularly advantageous for models with optional type approval, as the type approval seal remains intact.
- Platform: stainless steel weighing plate, painted steel substructure, silicone-coated aluminium load cell with IP65 dust and splash protection.
- Table base with wall mounting for indicator unit as standard.
- Protective hard cover included in delivery.
- For applications requiring type approval (conformity assessment in accordance with NAWI 2014/31/EU), please order type approval together with the scale; initial type approval at a later date is not possible. For type approval, we require the complete address of the place of use.
- The simultaneous connection of up to three optional interfaces is only possible with the KUP-A13 Extension Box. Without the box, only one optional interface can be used at a time.
- Compatible with KERN EasyTouch software for easy recording and evaluation of weighing data.
