Industry 4.0: Numerous (optional) data interfaces allow convenient transfer of weighing data to tablets, laptops, PCs, networks, smartphones, printers etc.
- Remote scale interrogation and control from external control devices or computers via the KERN Communication Protocol (KCP). The KCP is a standardised set of interface commands for KERN scales and other instruments, which allows all important parameters and device functions to be called up and controlled. KERN devices equipped with KCP can therefore easily connect to computers, industrial control units and other digital systems. The KCP is largely compatible with the MT-SICS protocol RS-232 data interface only Further interfaces are possible on request.
- Maximum mobility: thanks to battery power (on request), compact design and low weight, suitable for use in different locations (laboratory, production, quality control, order picking, etc.).
- Platform: stainless steel weighing plate, painted steel substructure, silicon-coated aluminium load cell with IP65 dust and splash protection.
- Adjustable level and feet for exact levelling of the scale; for highest precision weighing results.
- For applications requiring type approval (conformity assessment in accordance with NAWI 2014/31/EU), please order type approval together with the scale; initial type approval at a later date is not possible. For homologation, we require the complete address of the place of use.
- *In addition to the RS-232 interface, which is integrated as standard, only one other interface can be installed and used.
- **A type-approved scale, which transmits measured values to external devices via an interface, necessarily needs an Alibi memory. It cannot be integrated at a later date.
